MISSION

To unite the Engineers and Architects of El Salvador to consolidate their professional unity and development in the scientific, ethical, and human fields, so that they may be worthy representatives of Civil Society in the development process of Central America.

VISSION

To be the largest, strongest, and most representative guild of engineering and architecture professionals in Central America, and especially in El Salvador.

To become the leading body to have a broad and effective influence on solving engineering and architecture issues in the development process of our communities

Our Association is a non-profit professional guild, apolitical, with legal status, and within it brings together engineers of all specialties, architects, and other professions related to these disciplines. Among the principal objectives of the Association, we have

  • Promote the advancement of Engineering and Architecture in various specialties and related professions
  • Advocate for guild defense and the comprehensive development of its members
  • Promote exchange with associations, people and institutions that have similar purposes, whether national or foreign
  • Contribute to the integral and sustained development of the nation, addressing national challenges through professional involvement in decision-making and problem-solving

02Organization

The Association is the largest and oldest professional organization of Engineers and Architects in El Salvador, founded in 1929 The General Assembly of Members is the highest regulatory authority, which elects a Board of Directors to lead the Guild; within the organization, there are other instances of oversight and supervision. In the Technical and Professional areas, we have various committees, whose main mission is to link the professional thinking and actions of ASIA with other elements of society and the government. The different committees are as follows:

Each of these committees has its coordinator and is composed of qualified specialists. Specialization is also promoted within the organization. To date, the following specialized organizations exist

With regards to international relations, ASIA has been a founding member of the Pan American Union of Engineering Associations (UPADI) since 1945; and it is also affiliated with the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (FMOI) and the Federation of Engineers of Central America and Panama (FOICAP)

The guild has its own physical facilities, where the following services are available:

  • Advocate for guild defense and the comprehensive development of its members
  • Modern auditorium equipped with air conditioning, ergonomic chairs, and simultaneous translation booths.
  • Classroom for the development of Continuing Education courses.
  • Various meeting rooms.

  • Recreation and leisure area for members and their families.

We also want to highlight that for over 30 years, ASIA has been publishing its own Technical Magazine, which serves as a scientific and technical dissemination medium that has gained wide prestige in the professional sector.
